Objective:
The Clinic Supervisor, LPN provides oversight, direction and coordination of all staff scheduling, and partners with leadership team members to support all staff and maximize patient satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Oklahoma, current BLS.
- 3 years’ experience as an LPN in a hospital or clinic setting and a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique and coordination of staff and resources.
- Advanced ability to keep stakeholders informed of schedule changes and to answer queries.
- Computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office and Time and Labor Management software.
- Excellent record-keeping skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Conflict management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Healthcare experience required (minimum 2 years).
- Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Ensure continual delivery of high quality patient care
- Adopt and implement innovative practices to improve our facility
- Coordinate staff schedules
- Recruit, select and guide staff
- Ensure that staff remains in compliance with professional development and regulatory standards
- Maintain a healthy, collaborative team environment
- Oversees daily duties of call center staff to ensure that quality standards are being met and proper procedures are being followed.
- Monitors/assesses performance of call center staff to make improvements or take corrective action in collaboration with Clinic Managers.
- Coordinates and maintains work schedules and location assignments for all staff.
- Verifies attendance, timesheets, work charts, and timecards for completeness and accuracy.
- Audits and computes total time worked by employees, overtime hours and leave time.
- Answers scheduling queries via email, phone or in-person.
- Notifies personnel of procedural changes in payroll policies and regulations.
- Adheres to company policy and federal and state timekeeping laws.
- Works with leadership team members in order to support all staff.
- Cross trained in all clinical roles.
- Travel to satellite clinics as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Practical Nursing License in state of OK.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
